Peter Haas got noticed by a larger audience in 1989 when he toured Europe with Krokus. He also recorded 2 albums with them. Additionally, he recorded several albums with the German-American progressive thrash act Mekong Delta and toured all over Europe with them.

When he met Richard Cousins from The Robert Cray Band he changed his drumming and musical style quite a bit. With Richard, he played in many different settings, such as Ivan Neville and Austin deLone’s Blues Explosion to just name a few.

Since then he has stayed more or less in the areas of Funk, Jazz and Blues, with regular side steps into the fields of Pop and Rock. He is also very busy instructing at the WIAM and teaching private students.
