ELECTRIC EEL SHOCK have been spreading their unique Metal / Rock & Roll message across the world since first leaving Japan for the USA back in 1999. By the end of 2003 EES's current tour will have taken them (not including air travel) over 120,000 Kilometres (about 75,000 miles). That is the equivalent of driving over three times around the globe. It seems like the Japanese Rock & Roll Monster just can't get enough of the touring life. Highlights of 2004 include storming SXSW as part of their first circuit of the USA. They have visited the UK and Ireland 3 times and made their first raid into Europe to play a massive stage-headlining slot at ROSKILDE FESTIVAL in Denmark where over 7000 crazed Scandinavians declared "EES. The New METALLICA" Along the way EES have shared stages with the likes of THE DATSUNS, THE D4, EIGHTIES MATCHBOX B-LINE DISASTER, GRINSPOON, FLAMING SIDEBURNS, ATOMIC BITCHWAX, JON SPENCER BLUES EXPLOSION, and countless others. |
