Mike Tetley - New Project

Mike began his life in Sydney Australia surrounded by his father's vast record collection. From a very young age, artists such as Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd quickly drew his interest and at 12 years of age he saved up to buy his first electric guitar. He then took formal lessons in high school and was accepted into the Australian Institute of Music to study music theory and guitar. After graduating, Mike took up the drums as a short term fill in while he looked for a drummer to join his band and never returned to the guitar.

In 2004 Mike was asked to join fellow Sydney Metal / Industrial band New Project, and in early 2005, relocated to London, signing with Retinue Records and began work with Producer James Barclay Gall on their forthcoming full-length album due for release in mid 2006.
