Kerry Jacobson
Ian Moss, Mondo Rock, The Faithful
Kerry was born on 19 April 1954 in Wellington, New Zealand. He began playing drums at age 9 and played professionally in his father's jazz band at age 13. Kerry moved to Australia in 1976 to join the up and coming band Dragon, staying with them until 1984.
In 1984 he became a session drummer in Sydney, recording with such artists as Richard Clapton, Kevin Borich Express, Marc Hunter, Doug Parkinson and Mark Williams.
In 1989 Kerry moved to Brisbane and studied jazz at the Qld Conservatorium, after which he toured Europe with Ian Moss and also re-united with Kevin Borich for a short time.
He is very involved in song writing and is currently playing with Ian Moss, Mondo Rock and a new band called The Faithful which includes members from the bands Mondo Rock, The Models, Shania Twain, 1927, Mi Sex, Baby Animals and of course Dragon!
