Adriano Molinari

Adriano has cooperated with musicians of diverse musical styles and is well-known for being one of the founders of the Latin Jazz band "Bossanostra." He has also played on the "Zu & Co" and "Crescendo" Live DVDs.

Adriano started playing drums at the age of 6. At 8 he began studying with Mauro Gherardi, one of the most famous drummers in Italy, and continued studying with Mauro for the next 10 years. At 14, Adriano began to play with professional drum-Orchestras, and at 20 he started playing in clubs with jazz and fusion musicians. Adriano was the drummer for the band “Eugenio Finardi” for 4 years. In 2002, he began collaborating with “Zucchero Fornaciari” for two World Tours through Europe, the USA and Canada.

In 2003, he joined Claudio Baglioni’s band for the "Crescendo" tour which ran until April 2004. On May 6th 2004, Adriano played as main drummer at the Royal Halbert Hall in London for the Zucchero "Zu & Co" concert which featured many superstars like Eric Clapton, Paul Young and Pavarotti. He started his European tour with Zucchero in 2004.
