Peter Ivshin
Trance Atlantik

Peter was born in the city of Balashikha, Moscow in 1985.
At four years old he started banging on pillows and suspended saucepan covers, playing along various records. He entered music school at 6 and at 8 was accepted to the music school orchestra.

Peter studied xylophone and won regional competitions in Ryazan and Pavlovsk Posad. He decided to go to Dunayevsky School because pop and jazz attracted him much more than classical music. M.I. Kovalevsky, a teacher at school, agreed to give him private lessons which greatly helped him build his skill and understanding of different styles. He currently studies at the Gnesyn Academy of Music.

Peter has participated in several projects before landing a position with his current group, Trance Atlantik.
