Engineering Evaluation:With the exception of the exterior cosmetic maple ply, this drum shell is exactly the same as the VX Shell. The basswood responds with plenty of attack and is exceptionally full-bodied. With off-the-shell I.T.S. mounts and single-point-of-contact lugs, this is an incredibly sophisticated and high performance drum set for the price.
