Mapex Endorser Bernard “Bingo” Deslauriers Performs Drum Clinic in Quebec

Mapex endorser, Bernard “Bingo” Deslauriers was recently on hand to celebrate the grand opening of Mapex dealer Studio Nicko’s new location in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. As one of Quebec’s busiest drummers, Bernard took time from his busy schedule to perform a clinic on the actual drum sets used by drumming’s international ambassador, Dom Famularo and Bill Joel drummer, Liberty DeVitto, at this past Montreal DrumFest 06. Studio Nicko’s customers were elated to be part of the event and to have had the chance to talk to and learn from our own homegrown drumming legend.

Bernard Deslauriers is the drummer for Quebec blues artist Bob Walsh and has also worked with Céline Dion. Deslauriers plays Mapex’s Saturn Series kit in Electric Blue Sparkle.
