Mapex releases special edition Pro M Shell Pack

Mapex has announced the introduction of a special edition seven-piece Pro M series shell pack. Available in limited quantities, this shell pack is finished in a beautiful new Honey Maple Burst, which highly accentuates the drums’ beautiful maple wood grain.

The seven-piece pack offers a configuration suitable for the majority of players and centers around the wildly popular 22x20 Pro M bass drum. No tom mount is featured on the cannon-like bass drum to allow for maximum resonance and flexibility. Also included are 8x7, 10x8 and 12x9 suspended tom toms, 14x14 and 16x16 floor toms with legs and a 14x5.5 20-lug snare drum.

Also unique to this set is a white, coated bass drum head with a smaller version of the Mapex logo, screened in black. The set is only sold as a shell pack (Model Number PM728SUHT).

“The Honey Maple Burst is a finish that drummers expect to see on a much more expensive kit,” said Sami Kizilbash, Mapex Product Manager in Canada. “With such a limited quantity available, we can expect these shell packs to be cherished by drummers and collectors alike for years to come.” Because Mapex classifies this Pro M shell pack as a special edition, it is not included in the “Buy the Kit, Get the Cat” offer, which rewards Pro M purchasers with a free Black Panther Snare Drum.

The all maple Pro M Series is one of Mapex’s fastest growing product lines because of its incredible sonic qualities, wide selection of configurations and finishes and competitive price. Only 15 of these very special shell packs will be made available in Canada.
