Mapex Introduces the Black Panther Limited Edition G2 Dynamic Tribal Snare

Building on their 2005 Dynamic Snare design, Mapex proudly introduces the Black Panther G2 Dynamic Tribal Snare Drum. The G2 Dynamic Snare features round bearing edges providing bright resonance and ultra-sensitivity. 2.3mm Powerhoops are conducive to its skull-cracking attack and provide support for a wide tuning range. Most noticeable is the G2’s beautiful craftsmanship; the shell bears a striking tattoo-like etching that compliments its bold sound with a stunning appearance.

Round Bearing Edge
This bearing edge provides bright attacks at higher volumes. Hard-hitting drummers will find their strokes generate an u nexpectedly powerful resonance with incredibly dynamic sonic qualities .

Powerhoops
2.3mm Powerhoops are specially designed for rock drummers around the world. They have been tested and proven to be the best hoop for the custom G2 steel snare drum and provide maximum sustain and resonance.

G2 Etching Technology
The G2 custom pattern is created using a mask layer applied to the highly-polished shell. The shell is submerged in a series of acid baths, which eat away at any unmasked metal surface. The result is an impressive mirror-finish design that stands out against the etched stainless steel .

Head and Snare Drum Case
The tattoo design spills over a custom Remo Weatherking Coated Ambassador batter-side head to provide a consistent and striking appearance. This special G2 snare is also being offered with a high-quality, padded Black Panther snare case.

Suggested retail price for the G2 Dynamic Snare is $579 CDN and includes the limited edition Black Panther case.
